On the body of the god, an ornate collar or pendant appears around the neck. This pendant is known only as the “Collar of Life” and symbolizes Anubis’ role as the god of life and death.
This precious bronze statue was found in the apartment of the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor. It is currently displayed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo as a magnificent artifact of ancient Egyptian civilization.
