This advert is part of a MUCH larger and very eclectic collection of photos and documents that was purchased in Europe several years ago. The red and white acid free sticker on the reverse of this photo was part of the previous owners collection and catalog system.
Up for sale is an Antique 1910 ABERCROMBIE & FITCH & The Boma Trading Co Big Game Hunting Advertisement.
The advert says “Big Game Shooting in East Africa 1910 Edition The Boma Trading Co Ltd London & Narobi American Agents Abercrombie & Fitch 57 Reade Street NY
Condition, it’s made of a slightly heavier weight paper but not as rigid as card stock. Otherwise shows signs of age, use, storage. Scuffs and bent corner on front. Oxidation throughout.
I’ve had this advert for some time. I always found it interesting in 1910 you could go shoot big game. No “hunting” required.
