This antique doll carriage was my Mom's and it was handed down for several generations (thinking anywhere from late 1800's thru early 20s perhaps).
This antique carriage was restored to be nearly new looking and very sturdy.
The original wheels and hardware were used whenever possible. There is a missing nut on one of the supports. Look at the pictures and decide for yourself. It rolls very well and extremely sturdy. My Dad did need to fabricate some parts but it all goes together pretty easily. Dis-assembled 4 bolts for shipping, so unit consists of wheels, springs -- the metal parts, the rattan carriage and the handle.
Some assembly required, but only involves installed 4 machine bolts and 4 square nuts, can be done with a flat head screwdriver and holding the square nut in the other hands. 2 person install might be easier, using one person to hold parts together while tightening.
Packed very well, in home depot extra large moving box and lots of packing paper throughout, some heavy duty paper around the wheels. The handle is still a tight fit, so I cannot promise the shippers won't possibly damage it or scrap it ... but I did everything possible to fit it in to minimize any shipping damage.
