Vintage GERZ TUREEN/PUNCH BOWL set with five mugs. Never used, only displayed. Made in W Germany in late 1960’s.
This is a unique and rare piece due to its dark coloration. The copies that can be found have only a washed-out color scheme, instead of this high definition finish.
The handles are two Fox. The top has a Squirrel as a handle. Acorns and Oak Leaves adorn the trim. A Bull Elk is flanked by three cows (female elk). The opposite side shows five Wild Boar and two Wolves. The five mugs are equally embellished. These details are not repeated on any other GERZ products.
Measures 13.5” wide by 10” deep by 13.5” high. Weight approximately 18 #’s.
