The dog can easily be mistaken for a cat, but similar listings identify it as a dog. The woman in the red dress is happily beaming at the sky. The tall friend (not actually sure what role it plays) stands up for just a bit and then falls over. That figurine is very worn but the others are in decent shape, with expected vintage wear. See photos.
The dog is marked on the bottom as "Made in Japan...Art Originals...New Canaan, Conn."
