AntiqueSessions Cabinet Mantel or Shelf Clock, 8 day time and half hourstrike, from about 1910 in excellent working condition, namedPlymouth. Unusual mahogany case features an inlaid wood decorationson the front of the case. Case is in excellent condition, with acouple of tiny dings usual with a clock of this age. Finish has beenrestored to its high gloss shine. Solid brass bezel polished andfinished. Porcelain dial is flawless and bears the Sessions logo. This clock has a superior Sessions long drop movement, with thependulum bob being attached at the bottom of the case. Clockmovement has just been overhauled (movement was completelydismantled, worn bushings, new hammer leather, click springs, springwire, springs, and any other repairs done as needed). Clockmovement has just been serviced (serviced means cleaned lubricatedand balanced), using only the finest synthetic lubricants. Syntheticlubricants are superior to standard petrochemical 'oils'. They havebetter lubricating qualities, are longer lasting and do not discolor,smell, or become gummy with age, requiring less frequent maintenance.Clock strikes the hour on a cathedral gong and the half hour on abell. Pendulum bob and key are replacements.

Clock may require minor adjustment aftershipping. Clock is balanced for a level surface and should be placed on alevel surface to run correctly.

All clocks are shipped with insurance andsignature upon delivery confirmation. Any damage caused by shipping service abusive handling will be resolved by the buyer filing an insurance claim with the shippingservice.
