On the obverse is an image of two battleships with the words "REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR/ DECEMBER 7, 1941" and "ACT OF CONGRESS 1990". On the reverse is an eagle clutching an olive branch, with the words "FOR THOSE WHO SERVED/ A DAY WHICH WILL LIVE IN INFAMY".
