Stanley Bedrock 604 1/2 Plane. Type 8, Made in USA. For Sale

A Stanley Bedrock 604 1/2. I believe this is a type 8 due to the single patent date to the rear as well as the \"Made in USA\" marking , in addition to  the keyhole Stanley lever cap (see pic 5). Manufacture dates for this type are 1927-1930. It looks to have been repainted at some point. The cutter is an almost full length V stamped iron, which dates to the 1910s. The handles are both Rosewood, the rear handle has an old repair. The iron is reasonably sharp and does cut but looks to have a low gradient bevel, so for ongoing use I recommend re-sharpening.
