The Uncanny X-Men #222 Marvel OCT 1987, VF or Better, A Really Nice Book For Sale

This is a really nice copy of The Uncanny X-Men #222, published by Marvel Comics in October 1987. The comic features popular X-Men characters such as Sabretooth and Wolverine (Logan), and is part of the US Comics tradition. The issue is in single format and is written in English.

The only flaws on this book are a smudge of some sort on the “N” in X-Men. It may be tape goop that can come off but I don’t want to try. Aside from that there is an impression on the lower part of the cover you can only see from a certain angle but it doesn’t break color or steal from the beauty of the book. There are a number of spine creases that ever so slightly break color but they are tough to see.

The cover is glossy, bright and vivid. The corners are square. The book lays flat, the spine is strong, the staples are shiny and the interior is gorgeous. I’d guess this book grades at VF+ and if not for the smudge on the N, it would easily be NM-
