Introducing a vintage Gillette Ranger TECH DE safety razor from 1941. This collectible item is made with nickel-plated brass and was manufactured in the United States. The razor is not notched and has been kept clean over the years. It is a great addition to any collection and perfect for anyone interested in vintage grooming items. This razor is not handmade and has not been modified in any way.
The razor was produced for a short time in 1941. World War II broke out and Gillette revamped their production efforts to making razors for our soldiers. Ranger production resumed in 1946. The 1941 Ranger is known for the non-notched center bar, no end caps, and the PAT NOS stamp on its smooth collar. Great history behind this razor.
Razor is in tremendous shape given its age. Beautiful shine on the top cap and handle. Slight tarnish spots on the knurling and smooth band where the PAT NOS ON PACKAGE is stamped. TTO has a robust feel when you twist open the smooth butterfly doors. Razor has been cleaned and sanitized. This little piece of history is shave ready.
