Fabulous Jacobean Crewel Embroidered Linen Bedspread.
The pattern of the spread is "Tree of Paradise". A large embroidered tree with colorful birds in the center of the spread. Colorful groupings of flowers throughout. Embroidered scroll design runs along the edge of the spread. Vibrant colors all on natural colored pure Belgian linen. Just an amazing work of art.
The bedspread is in very, very good condition. No holes, stains or wear. Did not see one loose thread of embroidery. There are a couple of very small slightly darker spots. Not noticeable. It was laundered and line dried.
It measures 66" X 102"--longer than a normal twin. It is photographed on a queen sized bed and looks great.
