Vintage Large Blackamoor Nubian Genie Statue Figurine Lamp? MCM Mid Century For Sale

we could not find any makers marks or artist indication or anything like that on this item, so here are the details we can provide, please read full description... we acquired this recently from probably the most awesome estate we have ever been part of, this place was full of carved masks, statues and figurines like this, and so many things we never even knew about, they told us this was \"blackamoor\" and it was a \"genie\" so we described this as they described it to us, the estate holder did not know whether it was supposed to be a lamp or not, but i had that idea when i noticed the circle cutout on the base of where she sits, and that there was a hole at the bottom as well to possibly fish a bulb up through there, and also a small hole on the back side, potentially for the cord to run through, this is all my guess, may not be accurate or work... in one of the photos you will notice we tried to picture, what is like crackling throughout this piece, we had a weller big planter thing, some time ago, and this was like that as well, and we had someone reach out to us to explain to us what it was, and so on, but cannot recall, so not sure if this was part of the design or what, but it is pretty much throughout the piece. this item is large, and fragile, we have tried to provide all the information we can here, please refer to photos, we used our yard stick to show different dimensions of the piece in the pictures, if you have any additional questions, or want more photos, just reach out and let us know, and we will do our best to answer them or get you what you want, actual item is as shown, if/when purchased, please allow us a little extra time to get this packaged properly, due to how fragile it is, we of course want it to make it to its destination safely intact, also we are open to offers on this item, as we tried to find similar pieces to comp from, but there was not many available, so as always, any and all reasonable offers are considered.please refer to photos, actual item and contents of this listing/purchase are as shown, and in our possession, all reasonable offers are considered, thanks!Terms of Sale and Details:
