Beautiful vintage hand-painted lace ballerina figurine by Aelteste Volkstedt, best known for its lace figurines, production beginning by the mid-nineteenth century. This figure is hand-painted featuring a ballerina wearing pink and white lace dress with applied porcelain flowers standing on a porcelain base, stamped with the blue Volkstedt 1762 crown mark used beginning in 1945. Measures 5 1/4" high x 4 1/4" long x 3" deep and is in overall Excellent condition, note a small chip to lace at back of dress and side, as well as minor, insignificant chips to the lace as shown, please see all photos. A fine addition to any home or collection!
