View Larger Image   Brass Candlestick Large Ornate Lamp Base Roses Glass   Description: Offering this beautiful vintage brass lamp base which has been given a dry brush finish in white that really brings out all the wonderful ornate details including scrolls, beading, floral and leaves, and large roses around the base - perfect cottage chic! The prismed piece near bottom is solid glass not plastic. This piece sets on three dainty curved feet. It measures 15 1/4 inches tall x 6 1/2 inches diameter at base. Very good condition, no cracks, chips, or dents, nicely weighted, very sturdy and well made. You could turn this back into a lamp if desired, use it as a candlestick (cup opening is 1 1/4 inches inside diameter) or set a large paperweight on it for a very unique decoration! (see example in last photo - paperweight is not included - only for example). Maker is unknown, circa 1920-50's.
