Copper Mantle Decor

I believe these are simply mantle decorations as I cannot imagine a purpose. Any information would be appreciated. Purchased at an estate sale. They are made of copper with a metal base as the base takes a magnet. Standing 16 in. tall. The base is 6 in. diameter. Very ornate face on the front and openwork at the top. Please view all images carefully since I find them hard to describe in words.Will definitely be a conversation piece on your mantle. Condition is good, but perhaps could be polished up a bit if so desired.
