At least, that’s what these seem to be. There doesn’t appear to be any liquid inside, or any mercury and the gold-hued tops don’t come off. These vintage U-shaped chandelier crystals, if that is what they actually are, have a clear long U shape outer tube with one clear protrusion in the middle and two frosted-glass-looking cylinders on either sides of that.
One or two have visible dirt specks on their tube parts, while all the rest have that invisible heftily grimy feel to it. Like when you pick up a jar that looks pristine, but your hand pulls away with an invisible coating of dust and dirt that has you rub your fingers together and go “Ew, this is dirty!” ? It’s thickly like that, on the glass themselves, and the plastic bags they’re in. Most of the gold-ish-colored tops where the hook loops are seem to show wear in the form of either discoloration, or a small multi-bubble-like appearance as if someone may have tried to boil these in some kind of glass soup.🤣 I should hope not, though.
Because of those tiny bags, the crystals look as if they were bought new, but due to being stored on a high shelf in a basement that normally flooded for at least 3 decades, the wet-cold environment wasn’t the best at keeping natural particle elements away. So, these will require cleaning.
I’ll ship them in the little bags they were found in, although those are dirty with possible lingerings of age-old fuzz still on them.🤣 If you don’t want them included during shipping, please let me know and I will place them in something else.
Please take good care in cleaning and utilizing these and give them a fantastic new home!🙏
