Up for sale is a fantastic piece of World War II Pacific Theater history. This is an original, authentic paper map prominently marked \"SECRET\" at both the top and bottom.

Produced in March 1945 for CINCPAC-CINCPOA (Commander in Chief, Pacific Fleet / Commander in Chief, Pacific Ocean Areas) by the 30th Engineer Base Topographic Battalion (USAFCPBC), this map (Drawing No. 1307-A) illustrates the flight and naval distances from newly captured Iwo Jima to the Japanese Home Islands.

The map centers its distance rings squarely on Iwo Jima, radiating outward in 50-mile increments up to 600 miles, terminating at the southern coast of Honshu (Japan), right by the Tokyo Bay - Authentic World War II artifact. Shows expected signs of age and field use, including a prominent central fold, minor edge wear/tearing, and some light creasing. The paper has slight discoloration, but all printed grid lines, text, and island labels remain bold and highly legible. The reverse side is blank.
