This is an original high quality Faber Castell 2/84N Mathema slide rule.
One of the most advanced powerful slide rules ever made, equipped with a clamshelf presentation storage case and plastic insert with engineering formulas. Unfortunately the instructions booklet is lost over the years but it can be downloaded from web.
The cursor and slide move very smoothly, with minor scratches and spots on the surface of the slide rule visible on close inspection only. The cursor is clear and the spring works well. Storage case is with a functional lock on the both sides, with visible scratches on the front and back side, see pictures. Date of manufacturing is difficult to photograph, visible only one digit X6X.
