These little owls are an absolute showstopper. A masterpiece of one of China's most celebrated art forms, this vintage cloisonné figurine is bursting with color, character, and centuries of craftsmanship tradition — small enough to sit in your palm, beautiful enough to stop you in your tracks.

• Hollow brass/copper body with full enamel coverage on all sides

• Material: Brass/copper base with hand-applied vitreous enamel

• Technique: True cloisonné — gold-tone wire cloisons filled with fired enamel, the traditional Chinese method with over 600 years of history

• Colors: Cobalt blue, white, black, gold, yellow, mauve/pink, green, burnt orange — extraordinarily rich palette

• Design: Floral motifs (blue pansies, scrolling gold vines) on the body; detailed feather-scale patterning on wings and back; oversized expressive eyes with white surrounds and black pupils; golden beak

• Base: Open brass bottom, typical of hollow-cast export-era cloisonné
