I have for your consideration a 18th Century Spanish TALAVERA Majolica Shallow Bowl.
Tin glazed earthenware. Painted with boldfoliageforms. Having a stylized bush or tree in center, surrounded by a multi-foliagebanding. Painted in tones of medium and dark green, ochre highlighted with achocolatebrowncolor.With a border of multi-colored banding of green, brown, ochre and yellow.
In very good condition for its age. Does have glaze pops and missing glaze, all original when piece was made.
Measuring about 1 7/8\" in height x 9 1/4\" in diameter. I see no cracks but on the scalloped edge I have photographed a small omission of clay or a chip but it looks like it may be from origination but not sure and it has a small hole for hanging and it is a great piece.
