1852 ANTIQUE HANDWRITTEN FEMALE TEACHER PERSONAL EXPENSES & SALARY BALANCE SHEET For Sale

12" by 8" sheet of off-white ledger paper dated 1852. In one column "By Wages for teaching 17 weeks $75.55"- that's about $4.44 per week. In the other column is a list of her expenditures- a volume of Byron's poems, half yard of dimity & thread, ribbon bonnet strings etc. There are some purchases made within a few days of each other that include a crape shawl, veil lace, dress for self and sister. It makes me wonder if these items might have been purchased because of a death in the family. There is no name on the paper, nor location but it's an interesting look into the past and the teeny handwriting is just exquisite- I can't imagine using a dip pen or quill to achieve these results.
