A full handwritten business letter dated New York, April 8th, 1867 on official Collins, Atwater & Whiten Commission Merchants letterhead (42 & 44 Murray Street).
Addressed to Mr. B. Lockwood Esq.
Discusses cotton shipment issues: bales "not shipped and laid back by the buyer," quality notes, and a Mr. Bolling traveling to Providence. Signed by a firm representative.
Accompanied by the original folded wrapper with the company name and date.
