Original 1873 Certificate of Ownership issued by the Elmwood Cemetery of Memphis, Tennessee.
This ornate 19th-century document certifies that Andrew J. Keller of Memphis is the owner of Lot No. 596, in accordance with the Act of the Tennessee Legislature dated February 13, 1852.
The certificate bears:
• an embossed corporate seal of Elmwood Cemetery (lower left);
• beautifully handwritten text in brown ink;
• large original signatures of the president and secretary;
• detailed decorative border and classic Gothic typography.
The document remains in excellent antique condition, preserved under glass in an elegant black-and-gold wooden frame.
All inscriptions are fully legible; no stains, tears, or discoloration.
