.Here's a deep cobalt blue hand blown glass Van Cutsem target ball from the 1880s...VAN CUTSEM A ST.QUENTIN boldly emb around the middle of ball ..diamond quilted pattern around the rest of ball....hand blown in mold...dark cobalt blue...rough sheared mouth opening....3 1/4"tall....about 2 1/2"round....Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage, except naturally rough opening from when it was tapped off the blow pipe. It does have one chip that is a little deeper. A nice clean ball with no haze. Originally, this ball would have been filled with feathers or paper confetti. When hit with a pellet it would explode releasing the contents to prove it was a "hit"...
