FORBES& MITCHELL IN AMERICAN TOBACCO CARDS say, \" This Kinney series is one of thelargest of all the tobacco card sets. It consists of two large subgroups (thosewith either colored or white backgrounds) and 13 subsets. These latter subsetsare determined by variations in writing on the backs or by different formats.The cards show 563 types of uniforms, 27 state seals, 20 medals, 10 foreignarms, and two ancient warships. The uniforms accurately depict militaryclothing of the 1880s and are often used as historical reference sources. A fewof the cards are very scarce; thus, few complete sets exist. A checklist isavailable on pp. 368-374 of WTI Vol. II.”

I will be listing approximately 100 of the N224 MILITARYSERIES. The LISTINGS will be by SERIES (A-M). Each Series will include all theunique cards (Duplicates will be listed later) that I have of that Series andall will be listed at the same time. Most cards are excellent plus to NEARMINT.
