Grand Rapids,Michigan,
in the year of 1895.
This letter is hand written and SIGNEDby
E. B. (Ernest B.) Fisher.
The internet lists him as the Mayor during 1894.. but here is a letter that he wrote on Mayor\'s Office letterhead from 1895. He may have, still, been the Mayor at that time or maybe not. Possibly he had not transitioned his duties of office to the next mayor yet?
According to the unique content of this letter, he was going to continue to be the Mayor until May 4th, 1895. The vignette on the upper left corner of the letterhead was printed by The Grand Rapids Litho Company. The vignette is, quite possibly, the Grand Rapids seat of the originalKent County Courthouse.
Condition: In good condition with slight flaw at upper corner.Sold AS IS.The \" ITEM\" thing is just a loose piece of paper that is not attached to the letterhead.
Approximately 8 1/2\" X 11\" in size.
