The cards feature the whimsical adventures of Wurzelmann and Purzelmann, along with the recurring forest characters and, naturally, Stollwerck chocolate.
The front artwork forms a particularly fun sequence, with the characters discovering a Stollwerck chocolate vending machine and getting themselves into various scrapes along the way. The colorful artwork and elaborate Stollwerck advertising imagery are excellent examples of the style of these turn-of-the-century German chocolate cards.
The reverse of each card identifies it as Gruppe 167 and Für Stollwerck's Sammel-Album Nr. 4, confirming that these belong together as a six-card group.
