Antique 1909 Embossed Easter Postcard – Chicks & Pussy Willows – Germany
Beautiful original antique Easter postcard featuring three bright yellow baby chicks beneath a large spray of pussy willows. A tiny red ladybug appears between the chicks, and the front reads “A Happy Easter.”
The card features extensive raised embossing, which can also be clearly seen from the reverse.
Marked “Printed in Germany” and SER. 347 on the back. The postcard was mailed in April 1909 and retains its original U.S. 1-cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp, handwritten message and address.
