1931 Vintage Press Photo by ACME.Large oil well burns in Oklahoma City.
Photo shows the fire that broke out after an explosion at a large, 10,000-barrel wild oil well in the Oklahoma City oil field, coming near the city.
The explosion caused the death of one and seriously injured two others.
Fire is threatening the outskirts of the city, and part of the business district may burn unless the wind changes.Photo is Dated: October 13, 1931.
