Vintage copper-tone metal trinket box commemorating the 1933-1934 Chicago World's Fair "A Century of Progress." This highly detailed souvenir features embossed architectural scenes including the Federal Building on the lid, Fort Dearborn on the front, the Electrical Group on the back, the Hall of Science on one side, and the Travel and Transport Building on the other. The box is lined with a dark blue velvet-like fabric and stands on four integral feet. The underside is marked "Made in Japan" and bears the N. Shure Co. Importers Chicago stamp.
