This beautiful Art Decopiece was designed as a collectible cover illustration for the dinner menus aboard the luxury Matson Line cruise ships traveling from California to Hawaii in the late 1930\'s. It was titled, \"The Luau\" (or Hawaiian Feast) by the American illustrator Frank McIntosh.This art showcases mid-century Art Deco Hawaiian design.
This piece does not include the actual menu but the cover that was made for the menu. The artwork has been matted and framed so you can easily display it and enjoy itscolorful beauty. The frame measures: 14x17, the menu measures: 12x9 (this is the folded menu size).
