Offered here is an original Bulkeley vs. Weaver Official Squad List football program, measuring approximately 9.25 x 6 inches, issued for the November 9, 1946 matchup at Hartford’s Municipal Stadium. This scarce post–World War II high school football piece includes complete team rosters for both schools, listing player names, positions, weights, captains, coaches, and game officials.
The cover features a bold football graphic and period Hartford advertising, making this a wonderful piece of Connecticut sports and local history. Programs like this were cheaply printed for game-day use and were rarely preserved.
