Vintage 1947 Wards Airline Model 74WG-1804D AM tube radio with wood cabinet.
This classic postwar Airline tabletop radio features a wood cabinet, large central speaker opening, curved horizontal tuning dial, two control knobs, and the original-style rear back panel.
The rear panel retains the Air Wave Super-Sensitive Built-In Loop Aerial System information, tube layout diagram, external antenna connection information, and other original printed service markings.
The cabinet appears complete and retains the original Airline script logo on the front. The wood finish shows age-related scratches, scuffs, finish wear, and other cosmetic marks, especially on the front face and edges. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition.
The chassis, speaker, tubes, controls, loop antenna system, and rear panel are present.
This radio has not been electrically tested or powered on. Due to the age of the original electronic components, it should be inspected and serviced by someone familiar with vintage tube radios before use.
