This is an original U.S. Military Ordnance Level, manufactured by the Frankford Ordnance Depot and dated March 1953. It remains in its original arsenal cardboard box with the protective foil-lined interior wrap. This precision instrument features a spirit level vial, a micrometer adjustment knob, and a graduated vertical scale.

Dimensions:The level itself measures approximately 3 5/8" x 2 3/8" x 1".

Condition:This item is in high-grade vintage condition. It exhibits minor age-appropriate shelf and storage wear throughout. It is difficult to determine if the unit saw light field use or if it has remained in its packaging since the 1950s.

• Finish: The original olive drab (OD) green finish is largely intact, showing only minor scuffs and thinning at the high points and edges consistent with long-term storage.

• Markings: The brass base features a deep, natural patina and carries hand-applied inventory markings (appears to be "212"). All stamped factory numbers and numeric scales are crisp, white, and highly legible.
