WHITE GLOVE TREATMENT! 1956 Disneyland CHILD Main Gate Admission 60c Punch Ticket EX - NM with COA. 2” x 1” Paper Ticket. Authentic Serial Number 009677. CHILD Main Gate Admission to Disneyland was $0.50 in 1955. In 1956, Disneyland raised the CHILD Admission to $0.60. This extremely low serial number 009677 is from the first batch of Punch Tickets printed for the 1956 season. This ticket has perfect perforations, no bends or marks, and the printing is incredibly clear. Sleeping Beauty\'s Castle is stunning on this ticket. This ticket grades Excellent to Near Mint. It\'s just a beauty! This rare Punch Ticket comes with a COA (Certificate Of Authenticity). The back of the ticket features GLOBE TICKET CO L.A. and Union Bug. Always check ALL vintage Disney Tickets for the Globe Ticket Company watermark or identifier. Punch Tickets were available both at the Main Gate Entrance and inside the park if you ran out of tickets from your ticket book, and only wanted to purchase one ticket for one ride. They are called \"punch tickets\" because they have a hole in them. They came in large rolls and were dispensed one at time, being fed through the ticket dispenser by use of the \"punch holes.\" I am always amazed that any of these tickets have survived the test of time. There were small ticket kiosks all over the park. Please see vintage photos of some of these unique ticket booths from both Disneyland. The Rainbow Caverns Mine Train is opened in July, as well as, Keller\'s Jungle Killers, a wild animal exhibition in the same tent as the now closed Mickey Mouse Club Circus that opens in February.
