Original U.S. military-style aluminum mess kit dated 1959 and stamped:

Includes the two-piece mess kit with folding handle as well as a U.S.-marked fork, spoon and knife.
The mess kit consists of the divided food tray and matching pan/plate with folding locking handle. A great piece of Cold War-era U.S. military field gear for a militaria collection, historical display, reenactment collection, or vintage camping collection.
This is an authentic vintage item and shows wear consistent with its age and previous use. There are scratches, scuffs, utensil marks, discoloration and other normal signs of wear throughout. It has not been polished or restored, preserving its vintage appearance.
