Nice original vintage Florida license plate from the 1967–68 registration period, featuring the classic “SUNSHINE STATE” slogan across the top and FLORIDA along the bottom.

This is an attractive example with a glossy black background and contrasting light-colored embossed numbers and lettering. The large period typography and prominent “Sunshine State” slogan give this plate an excellent vintage Florida appearance.
The front presents very well, particularly considering its age. The embossed numbers, lettering and border remain crisp and clearly defined. There are scattered scratches, scuffs, small areas of paint loss, mounting-hole wear and other signs of use.
The reverse shows considerably more evidence of age and use, including scratches, areas of paint loss, oxidation/discoloration and surface wear. These imperfections are shown clearly in the photographs.
The plate appears to retain its original vintage finish. I see no obvious evidence in the photographs that this example has been fully repainted or restored.
Overall, this is a very presentable original Florida plate with genuine vintage character.
