An original 1969 copy of the Chicago Seed filled with 1960s revolution and radicalism. Immediately inside is a very critical review of the Weathermen, who came for the SDS-declared Days of Rage to "tear up pig city." The article criticizes them for "supermilitant street fighting and cop beating" that leaves them unsupported by both sides.
Turn the page and here are the original Chicago eight (later seven, after Black Panther Bobby Seale received a mistrial after being bound and gagged in court) being compared to the five men who were hanged as part of the Maymarket Square conspiracy.
