Vintage pair of cast metal American eagle bookends marked © 1972 Colonial Virginia, Hampton, Virginia. Each bookend features a large spread-wing eagle with “1776” across the front base, giving the pair a strong early American / Bicentennial decorative look.
These have a brass/bronze-tone finish with detailed feather, talon and eagle-head casting. Substantial pair with a combined weight of 4 lb 4 oz.
A nice vintage decorative set for a library, office, patriotic collection or Americana display.

CONDITION
Vintage used condition with surface wear, scratches, patina, finish variation and signs of age. The original molded markings remain visible on the backs. Both bookends display well and are being sold as the matching pair shown.
