Here\'s some cards for the 1990 Topps Dick Tracy movie. This movie was hyped up to levels I never saw before. It was trying to match the success of Tim Burton\'s Batman which came out in the summer of 1989. This movie came out in the summer of 1990 and didn\'t live up to that level of hype. It was imaginative, and had a great cast Warren Beaty, Al Pacino, Gleene Headly, Madonna, Paul Sorvino and alot of actors under HEAVY surreal makeup.
The set was surreal and strange looking. Maybe too strange for the type of film they were making. It also had some disturbing scenes like the cement baths which might have been a little too much for a younger audience. There\'s alot of just a little too much in this movie for it to echo the summer movie blockbuster of 1989. An A for effort though and this card set was a result of the hype around this movie.
The cards are in Near Mint or better condition. Same as the stickers. The cards are thicker than typical Topps sets with a glossy front.
