Vintage 1998 Avon officially licensed NFL National Football League glass beer stein/tankard, made in Germany.
This collectible football stein features detailed etched football-player graphics around the clear glass body along with a hinged pewter lid. The lid is embossed with a football design and “National Football League Football” lettering and features a football-shaped thumb lever.
The original NFL licensing sticker remains present with number A73247995, along with the Made in Germany label.
Very good vintage condition overall with light wear consistent with age, storage, display and normal use. No cracks or repairs noted.
For full disclosure: there is a small surface irregularity on the glass near the handle area. The area feels smooth when running a finger or thumb over it, but a slight imperfection can be felt when running a fingernail across it. It does not appear to extend into a crack. A close-up photo has been included so buyers can evaluate the exact condition.
The metal lid and hardware show light age-related surface wear consistent with vintage use and storage. The etched football graphics remain attractive and display nicely.
