Pay old taxes, to borrow money & deposit
Be it ordained & enacted by the Citizens of Lancaster in Select & Common Councils assembled, That the Treasurer of the City be, & he is hereby authorized and empowered, to borrow for the use of the City of Lancaster on the credit of the City the sum of Fifteen hundred Dollars on such terms & conditions as will in his opinion be most advantageous to the said City & that the taxes be pledged for the repayment thereof.
