19TH CENTURY KOREAN JOSEAN DYNASTY MOTHER OF PEARL CABINETDESCRIPTION: Selling this beautiful museum quality mother of pearl cabinet this type of cabinet from this era is incredibly rare and was made for the highest class in the Josean dynasty few of these cabinets of this caliber exist in the market today and likely this is the only one for sale. Most are in private collection or museums.This four-tier cabinet features an open top compartment for storing items. The central section comprises two levels accessed via doors, while three drawers are situated in the lower part of the cabinet. It boasts a rather intricate design compared to typical furniture. Covered in black lacquer with mother-of-pearl inlays showcasing floral and dragon motifs, it exudes elegance. The inside doors have more inlay of frogs . Such attention to detail in the interior work is relatively uncommon. this cabinet is a true Masterpiece.
