2 Antique Conta & Boehme Bisque Asian Nodder Couple Figurines Germany Set Pair:

This delightful pair of late 1800s bisque nodders was most likely manufactured by Conte Boehm in Germany. They depict Chinese male and female seated figures holding a fan behind their heads. Weightedinternal balances allow the heads to nod or bob side-to-side when tapped. Each measures about6-1/2” tall and 5-7/8” wide. Each weighs about 1.7 pounds. There is a missing thumb on the woman’s left hand (see last photo). Otherwise, theyare in admirable condition. Free of chips, cracks and repairs. Very minimal surface wear.Reliable packaging and prompt shipping :)
