DESCRIPTION: Lot of 2 Amberina Compote or Candy Dishes in the Carltec Pattern by Kemple Glass. Line #68. This pattern is also known as Stars and Panels. Kemple Glass was in business from 1945 through 1970.
MEASUREMENTS: Each measures approximately 4-5/8 inches tall to the top point of its teeth on the top rim, and 6-3/8 at the exterior diameter of its top rim.
CONDITION: Both remain in excellent condition and presents beautifully, but there is a shallow nic along the seam of the bottom rim on one of the compotes (can be seen in our base photo on the compote on the right at about 6:00 on a clock). On the other compote, there is an area of silica or other material that is visible on the inside of the glass (from manufacture, see our photos). The glass remains vibrant with little to no scuffing from use.
WEIGHT: Weighs approximately 3 pounds 14 ounces before being packaged appropriately for shipping.
