Top photo: Church congregation. Reverend Dr. H. R. Gebhardt is visible along the back row, the 4th person to the left of the pillar on the right side. He is also standing next in front of the church parsonage and his1929 Ford Model A Sedan. \"The church merged in 1934 to become the Evangelical Reformed Church which again merged in 1957 to form the modern United Church of Christ. Reverend Gebhardt by 1940 was head pastor of Pioneer Evangelical and Reformed Church on Sherman Street, Denver Colorado. On Sep. 26, 1941 during a regional synod conference in Laramie, Wyoming. Rev. Gebhardt was officially elected President of the Evangelical Reformed Churches of Colorado and Southern Wyoming. A nice bit of history. Very good condition.
