The First Release of the 2025 Vintage Club!The Black Stallion mold debuted in 1981, a year that saw the beginning of many historic events that would change popular culture forever – such as the advent of MTV, which broadcasted popular musicians into living rooms around the world, and the launch of NASA’s first Space Shuttle mission.The Black Stallion books have delighted and enchanted horse lovers for more than 80 years, and Breyer’s models, based on Walter Farley’s equine characters, remain beloved by many Breyer fans. In addition to “the Black,” Farley’s stories starred a variety of talented colts and fillies sired by the famous stallion.
