3 Antique RCA Radiotron UX-222 Vacuum Radio Tubes Early Screen Grid For Sale

Lot of 3 antique RCA Radiotron UX-222 vacuum radio tubes, early screen-grid tubes from the formative era of radio receiver development.All three retain visible RCA Radiotron UX-222 markings on their original black bases and feature large early glass envelopes, four-pin bases, top-cap connections, and distinctive internal metal construction.The UX-222 is an early screen-grid RF amplifier tube and is closely related to the Type 22 tubes we just listed. This matched RCA group would make an excellent addition to an early radio collection, restoration project, vacuum tube collection, or historical electronics display.TESTING / CONDITION: These UX-222 vacuum tubes are UNTESTED. I do not have the appropriate vintage tube-testing equipment necessary to properly and safely test these tubes, so no attempt has been made to power or operationally test them. They are therefore being sold AS-IS with unknown operating condition.As additional context regarding this estate collection, the majority of the vintage bulbs/components from this same collector that could be appropriately bench tested with a digital multimeter have tested positive for electrical continuity, producing healthy, steady cold-resistance readings at the time of testing. These UX-222 tubes require different testing equipment and were not included in that testing, so the results from other items in the collection should not be interpreted as a guarantee that these tubes are functional.Untested does not mean known non-working; it means I do not have the appropriate equipment to properly evaluate these particular tubes.The tubes appear visually complete.
