Attractive group of three large vintage spice tins with wonderful original advertising graphics. AI tells me these are from the 40s or possible into the 50s . This one is like maybe a couple hundred dollars Included are a Watkins Ginger 8-ounce tin, McCormick Bee Brand Cinnamon 8-ounce tin and Claremont Quality Black Pepper 16-ounce tin from McClintock-Stern Co. of San Francisco.
All three containers still appear to have some of their original contents. Judging only by how they feel when handled, the black pepper may be approximately one-third full, the cinnamon feels nearly full and the ginger may be approximately three-quarters full. These are rough estimates only. The tins have not been opened, weighed or otherwise verified, and no amount of remaining contents is guaranteed.
The tins are in good vintage condition with attractive colors and readable graphics. They show expected age-related scratches, scuffs, spots and light wear. Please examine all photographs closely, including the tops and ruler photograph, for measurements and complete condition.
These would make excellent display pieces for a vintage kitchen, country store, advertising collection, movie or television production, theatrical set or period photo shoot.
The contents are very old and are not intended for consumption. Sold strictly as vintage advertising collectibles and display props.
