4 Large Antique White Opalescent Glass HAT PINS
Offered are four good sized antique hat pins. They feature a milky, iridescent opalescence white glass head with raised embossed pattern mounted on a long steel shaft. Two are round and two are oval.
Round
The 2 round pins are similar, but have different patterns. They are both about 9 inches long. One has a 1 3/8 inch glass, while the other has a disk that is closer to 1 ¼ inch.
Both have traces of glue where the tops have been glued to their shafts.
The larger has some micro surface chips along the rim. The smaller also has micro chips, but are a little more visible. The long pins are straight and the metal has some patina.
Oval
The second pair are oval and have the same pressed or molded design.
They are both a bit more than 9 inches long. Their glass tops measure about 1 inch by 5/8 inch.
Both have traces of glue where the tops have been glued to their shafts. They also have tiny chips along their edges. One has only micro chips while the other’s damage is more noticeable. The long pins are straight and the metal has some patina.
